Grainne Case Study - Bracelet

Grainne was looking for a bracelet from her husband for her 50th. In particular she was looking for a unique design that incorporated Burmese rubies, a region that's famous for mining the rare gems. Having been unsatisfied with the pre-made pieces available elsewhere, she was eventually put in touch with Karina.

Karina came up with some designs, one of which Grainne loved immediately. To link the bracelet together in order to achieve the smoothest and most flexible possible movement, Karina used a Cartier 1930s style technique. Karina has access to suppliers all over the world, which enables her to get the best quality precious jewels for a very reasonable price. For Grainne's bracelet she ordered blood pigeon rubies and very high quality diamonds.

When she saw the end result Grainne was stunned, saying "It's absolutely amazing. I haven't seen anything like it before."
