Karina made Simon’s wedding rings, cufflinks, a pendant and a bracelet for a wedding gift. Each one stands out for a different reason, so it was difficult to pinpoint one in particular.
“Obviously my wedding bands were particularly memorable, but they all mean a lot because they were made so personally. One I was particularly impressed with; an opal that was my grandmother’s. She made it into a pendant for a birthday present. All the pieces have a story to them and taking it to Karina adds to that story. She is such a warm, kind-hearted person and she asks a lot of questions to get it exactly right. She makes a mock up so you can get a real feel for things.”
When asked what most impressed him about Karina he replied, “The aftercare. She is always there to cover the things you wouldn’t think about, such as cleaning and insurance. She really is a special person.”
